Judgements
Although dated 1968, "Judgements" is known to have been performed in an earlier form on That Was The Week That Was. Since the television series only ran from 1962 to 1963, the song must have its origins in that period, although the version which eventually made its way to vinyl was an update on the original idea.
The song portrays courtroom judges as privileged incompetents, doling out sentences and making moral assertions on others from behind their capes and regalia, and basing their rulings on their own personal whims.

"Inspired by a visit to the Law Courts in the Strand, this song was first performed, in a somewhat different version, on TW3." - LR (Look Here (songbook), 1968)
