All By Yourself
This song was written for Leon's young daughter Ruth. It sits with his Inter-Action songs from the same period, but is not really written for children so much as their parents. A brief ditty encouraging children to put their pyjamas on themselves, Leon has suggested it might be adapted to fit other circumstances too. It is not known to have been recorded.
"'All By Yourself' was made for Ruth, who is three, and it is a song of gentle persuasion which might be helpful to parents of children who are making declarations of independence. Change the first line to suit the situation." - LR (That's Not the Way It's Got To Be (songbook), 1974)
