Paris In The Rain
A miniature portrait of a French woman, drinking champagne alone in a Paris restaurant. Initially depressed, an old song awakens a spark in her and as she throws off the shackles of a relationship she finds her freedom. In the 2016 recording, Liz Mansfield sings (appropriately, considering the character is female) but the music consists wholly of Fiz Shapur's piano, meaning Leon sits this one out. (It is, in fact, the first of two piano ballads on the album.)
