Sub-titled Four Songs on Israel/Palestine, this CD first appeared in 2002, carrying a quartet of songs, three of which were released previously. The odd one out was “My Father’s Jewish World”, which had been recorded at Frog Studios in Windsor, where Leon’s last album was made. (“They Said...” had appeared on a various artists album, but not until now on one of Leon’s own CDs.)
The theme of the CD is fairly self-apparent, reflecting Leon’s growing concern with the continuing situation.

"The non-violent activists in the International Solidarity Movement are going to Palestine to try to provide some measure of protection for Palestinian communities under siege and under attack. These songs are dedicated to them and to those Israeli conscripts who are expressing their Jewishness by refusing to serve in the Occupied Territories in order to (in their words) 'rule, expel, destroy, blockade, assassinate, starve and humiliate an entire people'." - LR (sleevenotes)
