This CD is a belated re-issue of songs originally recorded by The Three City Four, and in fact rounds up the majority of their recordings: 19 of the 26 tracks on the group’s two LPs are included.

Leon contributed eight originals to the group while they were active, as well as part of the re-worked “Oh Had I A Golden Thread”, and all but three appear on the CD (the omissions being “There’s Gonna Come A Morning”, “Down The Drain” and “Tourist’s Complaint”).

There is no new material available here, but the CD is attractively packaged, with a booklet containing comments on the songs.
